31st July 2023
The St Mary's College First Nations Men for Tomorrow Program was officially launched last week!

This amazing initiative is dedicated to empowering students by improving attendance, academics, and engagement.

Staff, students and their families joined us for a special event featuring a guest speaker, captivating cultural performances, awards, and refreshments.

Congratulations to Year 12 student, Jacob Lasserre, the deserving recipient of the "First Nations Men for Tomorrow Dhinawun Award". This award recognises Jacob's outstanding achievements, embodying the spirit of change and progress. This award honours his commitment to holistic development, academic excellence, and active engagement, as well as his will to drive meaningful change within the First Nations community.

We are also proud to honour Stuart and Regan Howells, St Mary's College Old Boys, with the "First Nations Men of Today Award - A Pathway of Success". These remarkable individuals have broken barriers and made a lasting impact in their communities across diverse fields. Their resilience, leadership, and dedication to improving lives make them shining role models for all.

Well done, gentlemen!
