Each year, the Old Boys' Association, in conjunction with St Mary's College, provides a wide array of events and activities for past students. Network with fellow Old Boys, reminiscence about your time at school and reconnect with your friends at one of the exciting events on offer.
In addition to the below events, we also hold Golf Days, social drinks and an Old Boys Mass. Please join our database to stay up to date.

Introducing the Alumni Open House series!
We are excited to announce the launch of our SMC Alumni Open House series starting in 2025! Join us once a month for a relaxed catch-up at the College. It's the perfect chance to reconnect with old friends, share memories, and meet with current and past teachers who have impacted your journey. We look forward to catching up soon!
Old Boys' Ball
The Old Boys' Ball will be held on Saturday 11th October, 2025 in the St Mary's College Edmund Rice Cultural Centre. Old Boys, partners, friends, family and past and present staff members are invited to celebrate this incredible milestone!
In 2025, we are also celebrating the following milestone reunions at the Old Boys' Ball:
- Class of 2015 - 10 Years
- Class of 2005 - 20 Years
- Class of 1995 - 30 Years
- Class of 1985 - 40 Years
- Class of 1975 - 50 Years

Pie in a Bun Day, Old Boy vs Students Basketball Game & Tour of the College
Each year, the Old Boys' Association host Pie in a Bun Day. The day begins with a tour of the College commencing at 11.00am, departing from the Cultural Centre on the corner of Hill and Helen Streets. Following the tour, an Old Boys vs Students Basketball game commences at 12.00pm in the Clive Berghofer Arena on Herries Street.
