We have a number of Year 8-12 boys involved in Social Justice Outreach over the coming weeks. Boys are visiting residents at the Salem Northridge Lutheran Rest Home, involved in conversation and pastoral activities. A number of Year 10-12 boys visit TRAMS (Toowoomba Refugee & Migrant Support Services) on a Thursday afternoon to engage in conversation and help with homework. Finally, on Wednesday 28th August, a number of Year 12 boys will venture to Brisbane to undertake Rosies, where they will converse and share food with the homeless. I sincerely congratulate these outstanding boys who are reaching out to those in need. You are a credit to yourself, your families, the College and Community. I thank Mrs Kay Gleeson (Assistant Principal-Faith, Mission & RE), Mr Ryan Baines (Retreat & Social Justice Co-ordinator) and other staff volunteers for their assistance: Mr Sean Albion, Mr Rob Anderson, Mr Brendon Willocks, Mr Rod Hickey, Miss Angela Collins, Mrs Robyn Topp, Mr Paul Grealy and Mrs Pam Hanrick.
